To make this project find any coloring book drawing and cut it out of heat transfer vinyl. I made my own image of an Irish Dancer, but any black and white coloring page will work. I used the Cricut Cutter, but if you are skilled with a craft knife, go for it! Then you have the dark black outline with the open white space to color.
I pressed the transfer to the white tee and decided that the washable markers from the kids craft section would be cool if they are indeed washable. Then you could color, wash and color again.
I test them out and it worked. I colored in the drawing, then washed in cool water, just like the directions on the back of the markers. The color washed out without any staining. So, that's the gift a white tee with a coloring book image on it with a package of washable markers.
Super Fun!! If you want a permanent color use fabric markers or Sharpies. If you use Sharpies, you have to heat set the color in the dryer for 15 mins before it's permanently set.
