Back by Popular Demand is my printable Santa Envelope.
My Daughter just loves getting this reply from Santa. Like I said in the past she even took notice to the post mark, noting that it is different than the post mark on the other Christmas cards we had gotten - so it really did come from the North Pole!!!! I changed the letter this year so if you grabbed the Freebie last year, get the new letter this year - KIDS ARE SMART THEY WILL REMEMBER - don't have Santa send the same message 2 years in a row! Keep the magic alive!
Here is also something really cool, have your child write a letter to Santa and take it to the local Macy's and place it in the big red mail box for Santa. They donate a $1 for every letter they recieve.
The Envelope: I made the file in a Word Document so it can be downloaded and the address can be personalized, then take a stamped envelope and run it through the printer printing this template on it. This "cancels" the stamp just like the post office. Grab the envelope here: Download SantaEnvelope2013
The Letter: Last year, I created a letter to personalize to put in the envelope. This year I made updates and changes to the letter, so grab a new one! I used the same logo for the letterhead and set it up with a text box to type your own letter or keep the letter I already have and just edit it for your child. If you choose to use the letter as is, the words in bold are what you will to personalize. Grab the letter here: Download Santaletter2013
Both the letter and envelope are typed in a standard font for easy download for all. I used Free Fonts from 1001 Free Fonts.com to make them fancy.
The Name on the envelope: Before the Rain the address in: Notepad
The Body of the letter is in: St. Nicholas and Santa's signature is in: Before the Rain.
This one of our favorite Christmas traditions. Start the Santa Letter Tradition for your family today!!! Happy Holidays!
I think you have to download the file, not just open it in the Explorer window.
I have found that in some cases the Word file has 2 pages, one that has the return address and the stamp cancel, in the second page has the address text box.
The address text box can be moved by clicking on the corner of the text box and dragging the text box to the top page, then typing the address in the text box.
I believe you can also add a text box by going up to insert, text box.
I hope this helps!!!
Please let me know. If it doesn't work I can email you the file - maybe a direct email will help instead of downloading.
