My daughter loves Putz or Glitter Houses. They are those tiny Christmas paper houses from the 40's and 50's. She has many different styles, but this year she wanted to try her hand at making her own.
I thought I would use the Dazzling Diamond sticker sheets from the Buckle Boutique to make mine sparkle, which means less glue = less mess.
I used a paper house design I found on the web here.
I cut it out of cardstock, then I cut pieces of the sticker sheet to fit each panel of the house and roof. I stuck the sticker sheets on and glued the house together.
I used a piece of the Rowlux Illusion Film for the door.
Then I used Beacon 527 glue and baking soda to make the snow.
I'm in love with how easy it was to make and no mess of the glitter and the baking soda didn't make as big of a mess as I thought.
These make cute gifts for the holiday season.
